About The Position

As our IT & Operations Associate, you'll make sure every new Wiser starts strong and every teammate gets timely, friendly support. You'll run onboarding and offboarding, manage our helpdesk queues in Airtable and Genuity, and keep our automation flows reliable in tools like Zapier, n8n, Make, or whatever else you need. You'll also own the day-to-day of asset management so devices are tracked, shipped, returned, and accounted for. You'll collaborate with our Ops, Talent, and Service Delivery Teams to remove manual steps, improve response times, and document what works—so Collegewise moves faster and focuses on students. Your work breaks into a few areas: employee lifecycle and access, ticketing and internal support, automations and reliability, asset management, and documentation and enablement.

Requirements

  • You have 1–2 years in IT support or operations with a service mindset—you care about helping people, not just fixing things.
  • You're hands-on with Zapier, Make, or n8n and take an automation-first approach to repetitive work.
  • You're familiar with Google Workspace admin, SSO concepts, and SaaS provisioning workflows.
  • You're comfortable working in Rippling or similar HRIS platforms to manage employee lifecycle tasks.
  • You're organized, detail-oriented, and calm under shifting priorities—you can juggle multiple requests without dropping balls.
  • You don't wait for perfect instructions; you make thoughtful decisions with the information you have and ask clarifying questions when needed.
  • You're a clear, kind communicator who writes tidy documentation that actually helps people.

Nice To Haves

  • Airtable or Genuity helpdesk experience
  • Light scripting or API/webhook familiarity

Responsibilities

  • Execute onboarding and offboarding SOPs within Rippling and internal tools.
  • Provision and deprovision accounts, groups, and permissions.
  • Ensure least-privilege access and clean handoffs so new Wisers start with exactly what they need.
  • Be the friendly first line for Tier 1 issues.
  • Maintain queue health and clear communication with requesters.
  • Route escalations cleanly to internal and external teams using Airtable and Genuity forms, views, and routing rules.
  • Build and maintain simple flows with automation tools.
  • Monitor run logs, retry failed steps, document fixes, and suggest improvements that remove manual steps and prevent future issues.
  • Own device inventory end-to-end—procurement coordination, assignment, shipping/returns, records, and end-of-life.
  • Keep the asset register accurate with light, regular audits.
  • Write bite-sized how-tos so you can capture recurring issues and resolutions.
  • Share patterns that reduce future tickets and help teammates help themselves.
