Job Description Summary: ModMed is seeking an IT Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle logistics, from hardware procurement to day 1 productivity. They manage the physical provisioning of workstations and the logical assignment of Okta security groups, ensuring every new hire has the assets and access required for their specific role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, BIS or IT
  • 1-2 years of experience in a high growth IT Operations environment.
  • Global logistical readiness, advanced skills in strategic sourcing and enterprise-level vendor management, identity lifecycle management, role-based access templates management, high-volume hardware refresh projects.
  • Holds themself and others accountable to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Embraces change as a growth opportunity; learns from successes and failures and adapts to new challenges.
  • Understands audience needs and clearly expresses ideas to build trust, ensure understanding, and collaborate effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management/process improvement certifications (ITIL, Six Sigma, PMP or IAITAM certifications).
  • Business savvy to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide executive-level reporting on the efficiency of the IT Ops engine.

Responsibilities

  • Global Onboarding & Orientation: Conduct IT orientations for new hires; manage the "Day 1" technical experience to ensure immediate productivity.
  • Procurement & PO Management: Execute the purchase of workstations and accessories; manage the submission and tracking of POs.
  • Asset & Inventory Governance: Maintain the physical inventory of workstations and accessories; lead the workstation "Refresh" and "Swap" programs to ensure hardware reliability.
  • Logical Access Provisioning: Place new hires into appropriate Okta groups and role templates based on departmental requirements to ensure secure, immediate access.
  • Hardware Staging & Shipping: Prepare, configure, and ship workstations to remote and onsite employees, ensuring zero-damage logistics.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for hardware vendors to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing.
