About The Position

As an IT Operations Analyst, you will administer the day-to-day purchasing and record-keeping operations of products and services on behalf of IT Services. YOUR IMPACT The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage the life cycle of the telco / datacenter invoices from receipt to submission to Accounts Payable for payment (this includes review / audit of invoice charges based on contracted rates) Track telco / datacenter spend ensuring it aligns with the current fiscal year's budget which includes providing IT Management with periodic budget-related reports Manage the datacenter contracts - facilitate the renewal process by engaging the Contracts Team, vendor, and Business Unit owners Submit requests for circuit quotes to telco vendors and negotiate for competitive pricing Provide back-up support to the Network Team which includes placing / tracking circuit orders (move, add, change, and disconnect) Manage the mobile devices which includes billing, inventory, requests, and shipping Assist in the management of telco equipment assets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting operations and/or IT functions
  • At least 1 year of experience managing telco orders, projects, and support
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Solid quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage small projects and coordinate team efforts
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to independently follow up on a wide range of issues
  • Experience coordinating equipment procurement, tracking purchases, and managing invoicing
  • Working knowledge of computers, IT hardware, and related equipment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, internet tools, and email platforms
  • Comfortable performing keyboard-intensive tasks for up to 90% of the workday
