About The Position

We are seeking a Network Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure within a dynamic IT environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of network systems that power organizational operations and information flow. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise in networking technologies and a focus on maintaining high system availability. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no travel required. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT networking or infrastructure support
  • Strong knowledge of: Network hardware, routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of: Network monitoring and performance tools
  • Strong knowledge of: VPNs and enterprise connectivity
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise-level network environments

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain local and wide area network infrastructure, including routers, switches, modems, hubs, and network appliances
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance and availability
  • Maintain and support network connectivity technologies such as broadband, frame relay, and satellite systems
  • Support enterprise wiring infrastructure, including fiber, UTP cabling, wireless networks, and network racks
  • Maintain and support VPN infrastructure and secure remote connectivity
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
  • Provide technical support for network devices, configurations, and infrastructure issues
  • Install, configure, document, and maintain network systems and components
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation
  • Conduct risk analysis prior to implementing infrastructure changes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement regulations, including submission of required documentation (e.g., 7100 and 7200 forms)
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams and external IT service providers
  • Support and manage network-related projects and initiatives
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve network performance
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative solutions
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within IT network services
