About The Position
Ensures the smooth operation and security of the organization's network infrastructure. Involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of network hardware and software. Analyzes network traffic and security logs to detect potential threats and works closely with cross-functional teams to implement necessary upgrades and patches. Documents network configurations and procedures, supporting end-users with network-related issues, conducting routine audits for compliance, and collaborating with vendors to manage equipment warranties and service contracts.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (AA or AS) in Computer Science or a related field required OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience
- At least 1+ year of experience supporting network infrastructure operations
- Basic understanding of network performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Ability to analyze network traffic and review security logs
- Strong documentation, organization, and end-user support skills
