About The Position

Software Finder is seeking an experienced and self-driven IT Manager to oversee and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and support operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of working independently, taking ownership of IT-related projects, and proactively identifying and implementing tech-driven solutions that improve business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects independently.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Google Workspace), firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications like CompTIA, CCNA/CCNP, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and performance of all IT systems including hardware, networks, servers, and software.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based services and local network environments.
  • Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for on-site and remote employees.
  • Train staff on best practices and new tools as needed.
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable industry standards.
  • Regularly assess risks and ensure proactive mitigation measures.
  • Take initiative on IT-related improvements, automation opportunities, and new tools deployment.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies aligned with business needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Lead the procurement process for IT tools, systems, and equipment.
  • Manage software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
