About The Position

We are looking for an Information Technology (IT) Manager & Systems Engineer to oversee the company’s overall IT infrastructure while directly managing system administration tasks across all locations. This dual role blends leadership with hands-on technical expertise to ensure operational excellence, network stability, data security, and end-user support. The position requires a highly skilled IT professional who can design, implement, and maintain technology systems while leading a team and supporting the rapid expansion of operations.

  • Proficiency in admin environment in Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mid-to-senior level IT role
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk may be required
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds if needed

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, switches, access points, and backups.
  • Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, cloud storage, and enterprise software applications.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and access controls across all systems.
  • Ensure regular system updates, vulnerability patching, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Provide escalation-level support for critical IT issues affecting field operations or corporate systems.
  • Oversee helpdesk and ticketing workflows, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related problems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, security policies, and system logs).
  • Support POS and operational technologies from an IT infrastructure perspective.
  • Lead IT projects such as server upgrades, cloud migrations, and network deployments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate technology partners for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgets for IT systems, hardware, and licensing.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and payment security standards.
  • Lead and mentor IT staff, ensuring continuous skill development and alignment with company goals.
  • Develop long-term IT strategies to support growth, scalability, and digital transformation.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology initiatives.
