About The Position

We are looking for an Information Technology (IT) Manager & Systems Engineer to oversee the company’s overall IT infrastructure while directly managing system administration tasks across all locations. This dual role blends leadership with hands-on technical expertise to ensure operational excellence, network stability, data security, and end-user support. The position requires a highly skilled IT professional who can design, implement, and maintain technology systems while leading a team and supporting the rapid expansion of operations.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in admin environment in Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a mid-to-senior level IT role
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk may be required
Ability to lift 15 pounds if needed

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, switches, access points, and backups.
Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, cloud storage, and enterprise software applications.
Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and access controls across all systems.
Ensure regular system updates, vulnerability patching, and disaster recovery readiness.
Provide escalation-level support for critical IT issues affecting field operations or corporate systems.
Oversee helpdesk and ticketing workflows, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related problems.
Develop and maintain documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, security policies, and system logs).
Support POS and operational technologies from an IT infrastructure perspective.
Lead IT projects such as server upgrades, cloud migrations, and network deployments.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate technology partners for efficiency and cost savings.
Oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgets for IT systems, hardware, and licensing.
Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and payment security standards.
Lead and mentor IT staff, ensuring continuous skill development and alignment with company goals.
Develop long-term IT strategies to support growth, scalability, and digital transformation.
Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology initiatives.
