This position supports the strategic direction of Integrations/Middleware Services by managing resources and scrum teams to assure the quality of strategic and high priority applications. You will monitor the performance of the project team through all phases of the SDLC, implementing enhancements and maintaining our applications, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices. Successful candidates must have experience in leading a software development team in an agile environment. This role requires a strong leader and communicator; expected to champion the delivery of value at the appropriate velocity. The manager will be responsible to create a culture that provides timely performance feedback and mentorship to grow team members. Successful candidates will collaborate partnerships with business owners to produce a highly responsive/effective team. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for the engagement and improvement of the whole lifecycle of services—from inception, through deployment, operation, and refinement. The manager will also maintain stability by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. The manager will scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. They will strive to utilize technical skills to maintain optimal system efficiency, productivity, and reliability. The manager will practice sustainable incident response.
