Requirements

  • Clearance: Must possess IT-III Non-Sensitive security clearance or Tier 1 (T1) at time of proposal submission.
  • Certifications: Must possess IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 (V3) certification
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of practical industry, government, and/or consulting experience in information technology management.
  • Demonstrated IT project management experience using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Proven knowledge and experience managing IT services and strategies across enterprise environments.
  • Experience conducting IT benchmarking and implementing best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience applying ITIL framework principles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive project management support to an Information Technology (IT) organization implementing and sustaining a robust IT benchmarking capability.
  • Identify critical project tasks, manage meeting schedules, track suspense dates for action items, and prepare executive-level presentations and reports for senior J6 leadership.
  • Conduct IT benchmarking pre-assessment activities, including customer interviews, evaluation of pre-assessment questionnaires, and development of follow-up questions to support site visit interviews.
  • Provide on-site Benchmarking Assessment support, documenting comments, feedback, and observations during subject matter expert interviews, and generating comprehensive out-brief presentations for senior leadership.
  • Analyze and compile assessment data to develop final reports, including detailed observations, actionable recommendations, and alternatives for implementing best practices.
  • Track and report the status of assigned actions related to both best practice adoption and IT service improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver IT benchmarking standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, templates, examples, checklists, tools, and policies to enhance and sustain the IT benchmarking program.
  • Plan, engineer, and oversee the installation of new IT infrastructure including wiring, fiber optics, and wireless network systems.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and management support to ensure optimal system performance and minimal downtime through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
  • Deliver IT cabling services and telecommunications infrastructure enhancements, including requirements for outside plant work and compliance with industry standards.
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical network infrastructure components such as cables, devices, and supporting hardware.
  • Oversee inventory, logistics, and material management to ensure efficient flow of IT and telecommunications products and materials.
  • Manage warehouse operations to maximize storage efficiency, enforce safety standards, and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution, including planning inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring timely product delivery.
  • Negotiate with carriers and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining cost efficiency and high-quality service levels.
