About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on IT Lead who thrives at the intersection of innovation, leadership, and problem-solving. In this role, you will serve as the primary technology expert and strategic partner to leadership, helping shape and support the systems that power our Home Health, Hospice, Medical Staffing, and Home Care services across West Michigan. This is a full-time, on-site position in Grand Rapids, with flexibility as needed to support operations and key initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building and improving systems—not just maintaining them.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in IT or related
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience building software, automations, or internal tools
  • Experience with device management (Intune or similar)
  • Solid understanding of security, identity, and access management
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, post-acute care, or other regulated environments
  • Experience with Power Platform, low-code/no-code tools, or custom development
  • Familiarity with AI tools, Copilot, or workflow automation

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the organization’s IT roadmap aligned with growth, compliance, and security goals
  • Serve as the primary technology advisor to executive leadership
  • Establish IT standards, governance, and best practices across all service lines
  • Lead administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Power Platform)
  • Design and support secure collaboration, document management, and workflow automation
  • Build Power Automate flows, Power Apps, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio agents
  • Oversee all company devices including laptops, tablets, and mobile phones
  • Manage MDM systems, security policies, patching, and lifecycle planning
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding processes, access controls, and user training
  • Design, build, and maintain custom internal applications and dashboards
  • Develop integrations across clinical, operational, and financial systems
  • Support data modeling, reporting, and analytics initiatives
  • Drive adoption of AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and decision-making
  • Build and optimize internal Copilot and automation solutions
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies for healthcare use cases
  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant systems and data handling practices
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices including MFA, conditional access, and incident response
  • Support audits and regulatory requirements across the organization
  • Oversee IT support processes and escalation paths
  • Balance day-to-day technical support with long-term system improvements
  • Collaborate with clinical, finance, HR, and operations teams to support business needs
