About The Position

The purpose of the IT Junior System Administrator role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HOPES organization's computer networks. The IT Junior System Administrator supports the maintenance and daily operation of the HOPES organization’s network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and communication systems, under the guidance of senior IT staff. This role assists in sustaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment that enables seamless communication and data transfer across the organization while supporting security and compliance requirements. The IT Junior System Administrator assists in the management of information and telecommunication technology at the center, provides technical support to staff as directed, and escalates complex issues appropriately. HOPES has an integrated team model approach to patient care. Key areas of support include Help Desk Tickets, network maintenance, Virtual Machine support, and participation in server and infrastructure tasks as assigned. As quality is every employee’s responsibility, the IT Junior System Administrator is required to uphold all standards and policies, and participate in quality improvement processes and meetings. Systems that you will be working with: - Active Directory Management - Azure / 365 management - Group Policy configuration - Hyper-V Management - VMWare Management - Dell server experience (RAID, iDrac) - Exchange server management (On Premise) - Network Management (Subnets, VLANS, Fortigate Firewalls, VPN's) - VOIP - MS SQL - Windows Server 2019 - Unifi Network Management - WLAN / Radius Authentication You will have a high level of integrity and attention to detail and accuracy. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside of HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.

Requirements

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Competent in collaboration with all levels of staff members, be able be a communication expert and influential.
  • Effectively guide and develop staff.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN concepts preferred; equivalent coursework or hands-on exposure accepted
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practice, primarily health data privacy and security standards required
  • Knowledge of anti-virus, email and anti-spam systems required
  • Ability to effectively present information in small group situations to patients, Center staff, and the general public required
  • Willingness to learn required
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
  • Familiarity with firewalls, switches and routers required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMR and data management preferred
  • EMR experience preferred
