About The Position

Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire an IT Audit Specialist working from our Friendswood, TX office location, with a start date on or before March 1, 2026. In this role, you will review daily audit priorities, execute IT audit and risk assessment activities, and perform control testing, evidence review, and gap analyses against policies, regulations, and contractual requirements. You will collaborate with IT, Security, auditors, and stakeholders to clarify findings, align on remediation, and track corrective actions. Responsibilities include responding to vendor security requests, maintaining audit documentation, supporting policy development and training, coordinating audits and incident reviews, conducting routine risk assessments, and preparing management summaries on key risks and remediation status. The role requires balancing independent work with cross‑functional collaboration and adapting to changing audit and compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
  • 3+ years of directly related experience in the following: managing information technology audits, assessments, remediation management, creating, leading, and managing IT security risk assessment programs
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center and the Security tools in Microsoft 365
  • Able to identify and document specific security issues, propose resolution options, and interpret matters from the perspective of involved stakeholders
