About The Position

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist IT team with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in office and theatre environments Provide technical support to staff, including setup of computers, peripherals, and user accounts Help maintain IT inventory and documentation of equipment, software licenses, and system configurations Support the installation and maintenance of computers, printers, and AV systems Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and process improvements Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology supports daily operations efficiently Shadow IT professionals to gain exposure to cybersecurity, systems administration, mobile device management, and technical support best practices Collaborate with interns from other departments on a company-wide case study project to replicate real IT scenarios within the context of producing a Broadway show Support the team with occasional office-related or administrative errands as assigned, including occasional front desk/receptionist coverage The Nederlander Organization is committed to a workplace where everyone is free from bias, prejudice, discrimination, and harassment. Requirements

  • Interest in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (coursework or self-taught experience welcome, with preference for those currently pursuing a related degree)
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/MacOS), and common office software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and IT practices
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Prior IT support, help desk, or technical project experience (academic, volunteer, or personal) is a plus
