About The Position

Erie Insurance is offering an internship opportunity in the Internal Audit Department as part of the Future Focus Internship Program. This program is designed to provide college students with professional and personal development through a variety of educational, developmental, professional, social, and networking opportunities. Interns will gain real-world business experience and have the chance to interact with high-level leaders, including the President and CEO. The internship will run from May 11th or May 18th, 2026, to August 7th, 2026.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a four-year degree or master's degree full-time.
• Completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting IT audit projects throughout the organization.
• Develop skills and gain knowledge of the IT Internal Audit profession, including risk management practices and information systems controls.
• Interact and network with members of Internal Audit and leaders throughout the organization.
• Use business systems and applications to perform analysis, document tests of controls, and complete audit assignments.
