About The Position

The IT Intern supports the organization’s technology environment by assisting with desktop maintenance and internal systems support. This role provides hands-on experience in end-user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and IT service operations while working closely with the IT team and service desk.

Requirements

  • working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and the Microsoft O365 Suite
  • hands-on experience imaging and configuring laptops and desktops (including operating systems and applications)
  • demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and peripheral issues such as printer installation and connectivity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Active Directory (user account administration and password resets)
  • familiarity with iOS device management

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and triage service desk calls and ticket queues, provide hands-on end-user support by setting up, imaging, and configuring systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues in accordance with established procedures.
  • Document and maintain support processes, collaborate with the global IT Helpdesk to investigate issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware assets and software licenses.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
