About The Position

Access Systems is hiring IT Interns for their 2026 Summer IT Internship Program. This hands-on program is designed for students seeking real exposure to client-facing IT work and interested in developing technical and professional skills in a fast-paced environment. Interns will work alongside experienced IT professionals to learn the fundamentals of client-facing IT work, including system configuration, domain and email management, and process-driven technical support within a structured environment. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting directly with clients.
  • Interest in networking, systems, or IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to explain information clearly and professionally, both over the phone and through email.
  • Strong attention to detail when working within systems and processes.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced IT professionals to learn the fundamentals of client-facing IT work, including system configuration, domain and email management, and process-driven technical support within a structured environment.
  • Proactively communicate with clients via phone and email to support IT-related initiatives.
  • Assist with the configuration and validation of verified email senders to ensure secure and reliable email delivery from customer systems.
  • Support domain and DNS standardization efforts, including documenting and assisting with migrations to more secure, customer-specific configurations.
  • Help execute repeatable technical processes related to email security, domain management, and account cleanup under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Review, audit, and organize domain-related information to ensure accuracy, accountability, and proper ownership.
  • Follow documented procedures and checklists to safely implement changes in customer environments.
  • Work alongside the IT team to support project execution, validation, and day-to-day operational needs.
