About The Position

General Summary The IT Intern will support the Information Technology team with day-to-day technical support, system administration tasks, and technology projects. This internship provides exposure to a variety of IT functions including end-user support, hardware deployment, network troubleshooting, cybersecurity practices, and IT asset management. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field who are looking to gain practical experience in a professional IT environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and basic networking concepts, AI tools (Open Claw, Claude AI, Gemini 3) and programming languages (Python) preferred.
  • Experience with help desk tools, device configuration, or cybersecurity concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Assist with device setup and configuration, including laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support user account management, password resets, and system access requests.
  • Help maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and system maintenance.
  • Support troubleshooting of network connectivity and system performance issues.
  • Assist with cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, including monitoring and documenting security practices.
  • Help prepare equipment for new employee onboarding and workstation setup.
  • Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all IT security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
