Xylem is seeking IT Infrastructure Intern candidates with an Information Technology background to join our Infrastructure team for a Summer Internship. This role offers hands-on exposure to supporting and implementing IT solutions that meet business needs. Interns will gain experience spanning hardware, software, troubleshooting, documentation, and infrastructure support. Xylem Summer Internships typically last 10–12 weeks and provide an opportunity to gain professional experience while making meaningful contributions to Xylem. Our program is designed to build a pipeline of talented undergraduates interested in careers in water technology and innovation. Interns are a primary feeder pool for full-time early‑career roles and rotational programs across Xylem. The hourly rate for interns varies based on major, year in school, and location, with an average range between $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. As an IT Infrastructure Intern at Xylem, you will support local and regional technology needs, assist with device lifecycle processes, collaborate with technical teams, and contribute to documentation and process improvements. You’ll gain exposure to frontline technical support, enterprise IT systems, and real‑world infrastructure operations.
