The IT Intern will support the IT department by assisting with technical support, system maintenance, and day-to-day technology needs across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting system updates, and contributing to ongoing IT projects.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common workplace applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and technical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support system updates, software installations, and security patching.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, system inventories, and user accounts.
  • Monitor and respond to IT help desk requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with basic network maintenance and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Support data backup processes and ensure proper data storage practices.
  • Participate in IT-related projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and technology improvements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the IT department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
