About The Position

Harford Mutual Insurance Group is looking for an IT intern to support the Tech Services IT team over the summer of 2026. This position is for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing career opportunities in information technology.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in IT or related field.
• Resourcefulness problem solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to change
• Desire to learn and grow within the field of IT

Responsibilities

• Deployment of new workstations and reimagining old laptops
• Upgrading operating systems
• Updating and organizing IT documentation
• Hardware Life cycle refresh and asset management
• Monthly Security updates on workstations
