About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital IT Customer Service IT Customer Service is looking for a dedicated IT Infrastructure System Analyst to join the Team. This role will be full-time day shift working Monday – Friday located in Falls Church, VA. The IT Infrastructure System Analyst successfully coordinates the implementation of small projects. Communicates project and team status to internal/external audiences to keep project teams informed. Assists in the development and training of existing and new team members. Conducts and/or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova Health. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; or Associate’s degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
• 3 years of experience as a systems analyst

Nice To Haves

• Previous Desktop Administrator or Systems Analyst experience in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova Health System.
• Provides all standards information to/from vendors for acceptance to ensure proposed solutions meet all Inova standards to include technology compatibility, operational fit and security/compliance standards.
• Identifies best fit for processes and systems through analysis of software solutions while making appropriate recommendations for best fit.
• Leads project task force meetings or work groups. Writes minutes, vendor project correspondences and status reports.
• Assists in the development and implementation of team member training/mentoring activities.
• Receives requests for services and coordinates effectively with end-users to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Maintains vendor and user relationships while communicating status/problems in a timely and professional manner.
