About The Position

The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is responsible for the design, operation, security, and strategic oversight of HCRS’ network, server, and cloud environments. This role leads the infrastructure function while directly managing a small team of IT staff. This is a hands-on leadership positions requiring deep technical expertise in networking, Microsoft 365, server administration, cybersecurity, and systems architecture, combined with strong team management and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Design, manage, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewalls, VPN)
Administer Windows Server environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
Manage virtualization environment (VMware or Hyper-V)
Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems
Ensure uptime, performance, and security of all core systems
Cybersecurity Lead cybersecurity strategy and implementation
Oversee endpoint protection, MFA, conditional access, email security, and firewall policies
Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation
Ensure compliance with healthcare data security standards
Coordinate incident response
Leadership & Operations Supervise and mentor IT staff
Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues
Prioritize infrastructure and security projects
Manage vendor relationships and service providers
Contribute to budgeting and capital planning
Strategic Planning Assess current infrastructure and identify modernization needs
Lead infrastructure upgrades and system implementations
Support integration efforts with EMR and other healthcare platforms
