About The Position

The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is responsible for the design, operation, security, and strategic oversight of HCRS’ network, server, and cloud environments. This role leads the infrastructure function while directly managing a small team of IT staff. This is a hands-on leadership positions requiring deep technical expertise in networking, Microsoft 365, server administration, cybersecurity, and systems architecture, combined with strong team management and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure & Systems Design, manage, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewalls, VPN)
  • Administer Windows Server environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
  • Manage virtualization environment (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and security of all core systems
  • Cybersecurity Lead cybersecurity strategy and implementation
  • Oversee endpoint protection, MFA, conditional access, email security, and firewall policies
  • Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data security standards
  • Coordinate incident response
  • Leadership & Operations Supervise and mentor IT staff
  • Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Prioritize infrastructure and security projects
  • Manage vendor relationships and service providers
  • Contribute to budgeting and capital planning
  • Strategic Planning Assess current infrastructure and identify modernization needs
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades and system implementations
  • Support integration efforts with EMR and other healthcare platforms
