About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle and SQL Server databases, Linux system administration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Requirements

• Five years plus of direct experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining Oracle/SQL databases in Linux/Windows environments
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments
• Perform database upgrades, patches, backups, and recovery operations
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency
• Manage database security, user access, and roles
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or other tools
• Administer Linux servers hosting database environments
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies
• Cloud exposure to AWS services and databases
• 5 years’ IT database experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science concentration, preferably with a minimum five years related experience, will accept Associate degree with equivalent experience
• Database related certifications a plus
• AWS certifications a plus
