We are seeking a personable and highly motivated IT Helpdesk Co‑Op to provide on‑site and remote end‑user support. This role offers the opportunity to learn directly from experienced IT professionals while contributing to day‑to‑day support operations involving hardware troubleshooting, software support, and adherence to IT standards. Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Zoom.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, evolving environments.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform under‑desk or elevated equipment tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, applications, and network issues.
  • Ability to work full-time Summer 2026, and continue through Fall term on either a part-time or full-time basis.
  • Current rising senior undergraduate student or graduate student in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site and remote support for end users in Kennesaw, Fairmount, and Marble Hill locations.
  • Respond to inbound helpdesk requests and document resolution steps in the ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot issues with Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, network connectivity, and virtual desktop technologies.
  • Maintain and repair IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and conferencing equipment.
  • Support device setup, imaging, configuration, software installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Participate in IT projects, migrations, and rollouts under direction of the IT team.
  • Ensure consistent user experience by following internal SOPs and knowledge base documentation.
