About The Position

The IT Co‑Op will support a variety of enterprise Information Technology initiatives and day‑to‑day operational activities. This role is designed for a motivated student who is eager to broaden their understanding of IT concepts, tools, and business processes while gaining hands‑on experience in a corporate environment. The co‑op will assist with IT communications, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) support, Microsoft Teams file cleanup and organization, and a defined IT project assignment. This position provides exposure to how IT services support and enable the business.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in: Information Technology Information Systems Computer Science Or a related field
  • Interest in learning and growing within the IT discipline.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework related to IT systems, applications, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with documentation or process improvement.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT operational activities, assisting with day‑to‑day tasks across the IT function.
  • Assist with IT communications, including preparing documentation, updates, presentations, or internal messaging for IT and business stakeholders.
  • Provide support for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities, including coordination, documentation, tracking initiatives, and assisting with reporting efforts.
  • Participate in Microsoft Teams file cleanup and organization, helping improve file structure, collaboration efficiency, and information governance.
  • Complete a designated IT project, which may include research, documentation, analysis, or process improvement work.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to learn how systems, applications, and end‑user services support business operations.
  • Assist with documenting processes, procedures, and best practices within IT.
  • Perform additional IT‑related tasks as assigned to support team objectives and professional learning.
