As the IT Infrastructure Intern, you will be part of a collaborative IT team, assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Reporting to the IT Manager, Site Administration, this remote role will provide you with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, allowing you to work with the IT team on multiple projects and support initiatives, enhancing overall system efficiency and security.

Requirements

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
• Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software systems.
• Support the IT team in managing system resources.
• Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Provide support for IT-related projects and initiatives, including security protocol implementation.
• Ensure all IT equipment is inventoried and maintained.
• Respond to technical support requests and resolve user issues promptly.
