About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Hybrid IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a "quot;jack-of-all-trades"quot; IT professional who can seamlessly bridge the gaps between traditional on-premises infrastructure and modern cloud environments. You will be the primary on-site resource for managing our network, servers, and cloud platforms while providing expert on-site support to ensure seamless business operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on experience in a combination of network administration, systems administration, and IT support roles.
  • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in Windows Server administration and operating systems. o Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, VPNs). o Familiarity with virtualization technologies o Experience with major cloud platforms o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Must be customer-service focused, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • US GOV CMMC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Network Administration: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), VPNs, switches, routers, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and ensure connectivity and security.
  • Systems Administration: Manage and maintain internal IT systems, including physical and virtual servers (Windows and/or Linux (?) environments), Active Directory, email systems, and data storage solutions. Implement and manage user access controls and permissions.
  • Cloud Architecture & Support: Assist in designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions within platforms such as (insert our Cloud applications). Troubleshoot cloud-based system issues and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud operations.
  • On-Site IT Support: Provide high-level, on-site technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues as part of daily operations and emergency response.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including patching, backups, and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and compliance with best practices. US GOV CMMC knowledge a plus.
  • Documentation & Automation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and configurations. Utilize scripting to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Vendor Coordination: Interface with third-party vendors and service providers to diagnose complex issues and implement solutions.
