The Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud and hybrid infrastructure while providing strong technical leadership, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to managing enterprise-grade systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: Azure Administration & Management Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, monitoring). Manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity governance. Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Security & Compliance Implement and monitor security best practices across Azure and on-prem environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable). Manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions. Infrastructure Operations Oversee hybrid environments integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud. Administer Windows Server, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware), and networking components. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. Automation & DevOps Collaboration Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Drive adoption of modern cloud-native practices. Planning & Strategy Serve as a subject matter expert for Azure and infrastructure technologies. Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance. Contribute to IT strategy, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives.
