Performs functions of a qualified IT/Cyber Analyst, providing mission support for multiple Force Protection Systems (FPS) Family of Systems (FOS) on the IBD-SS program, supporting the Warfighter. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining system compliance, ensuring Information Assurance (IA) requirements are met, and providing technical and administrative support for software (SW) and systems. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate, document, and troubleshoot systems and software for adherence to configurations and compliance standards. Other responsibilities include: Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with computer network directives, including identifying patterns indicative of broader system interactions Experience working with systems that have mission, bandwidth, environmental, or security constraints, and ability to explain how those constraints affected decision making Ability to describe how cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide solutions to end users effectively. Develop and follow established procedures to install software and maintain systems. Perform system administration tasks ensuring compliance with DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) security policies and procedures. Troubleshoot system and software issues, identifying root causes that may span multiple system components and providing technical support and solutions to end users.
