About The Position

Provide technical support to HutchCC students, faculty, and staff. Junior and Senior designations will be applied to the job title where appropriate to skill level and experience. Essential: Enter and update tickets in the ITS support call processing Act as part of the ITS support Help maintain HutchCC information Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position. Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices. Secondary: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Support Manger. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong customer service and communication skills Information technology support experience Phone support experience and troubleshooting skills are Energetic, self-motivated personality is Experience with a variety of web browsers Preference given to applicants with Windows, Mac, and OpenVMS Physical activities will include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, carrying, etc.; visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment and apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately. Heavy, indoor/outdoor work environment. Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position. Physical and mental qualifications must be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation. HOURLY WAGE and STATUS : The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. This full-time support staff position is 12 months annual, benefit eligible, at-will, and non-exempt.
