About The Position

We are seeking a self-motivated IT Help Desk Technician who takes ownership of technical issues and delivers excellent support to end users. This role goes beyond basic troubleshooting—you’ll anticipate problems, communicate clearly with non-technical users, and help keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll work independently on day-to-day support while collaborating with experienced IT professionals on broader initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
  • Patient, professional, and customer-focused
  • Customer service orientation with ability to work effectively in a team
  • Located in or around Houston, TX

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support —resolve issues quickly or escalate appropriately
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals across the organization
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in collaboration with the IT team
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets
  • Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides
  • Train and support employees on business applications and technology tools
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Assist with basic development, troubleshooting, and user support for low-code/no-code applications and automated workflows
