About The Position

The Help Desk Technician will provide front-line support to our internal customers and work on a variety of technology projects. This position is onsite at our Hudsonville facility.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in an IT field preferred and 1 year experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A true passion for technology

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Chrome OS is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, and VMWare Horizon is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and maintains the organizational computer system's daily performance.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshoots and resolves urgent technical issues, while responding to help requests in person and by phone.
  • Identifies and escalates complex issues to management.
  • Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
  • Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
  • Installs and repairs computer hardware and software, cleans computers, and runs diagnostic programs.
  • Writes user manuals and trains staff as needed.
