About The Position

The IT Vendor Manager oversees, manages, and optimizes IT’s relationships with professional services, infrastructure, and software vendors. This role reports directly to the Director of IT PMO and Portfolio Management and is critical in ensuring that vendor partnerships align with IT’s strategy and operational priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business,a relatedfield, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Vendor management and/or IT Finance preferred.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor performance.
  • Knowledge of professional services agreements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and proven ability to work with Executives and geo-dispersed stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor management platforms and procurement systems.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with global vendorsand offshore service providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IT capabilities like Salesforce, Workday, Azure, and ML/AI technology trends and innovations.
  • Partner with Procurement to ensure vendor performance isholistically optimized.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate theannual budgetprocessfor Information Technology Services, collaborating withtheITLeadershipteamto understand program-specific financial needs and priorities.
  • Conduct regular budget reviews and provide insightful financial analysis toassistin decision-making.
  • Generate and present monthly accruals, budget actuals,forecast, and other departmental reports for review by the CIO and Senior Leadership, highlighting program-specific budget variances, trends, and potential areas for cost optimization.
  • Coordinate andcomplete monthlyexpense reporting for IT Enterprise expenses
  • Advise andassistadministrative staffonbudget processes.
  • Carefully manage performance to IT contracts,prioritizing byrisk andspend, with a focus on optimization and performance.
  • Working with CAA Procurement and IT Leadership, develop and executeITvendor management strategies aligned withCAA’sgoals.
  • Manage vendor relationships across IT which include applications,network, professional services, and infrastructure providers.
  • Partner withthe CAAProcurement organization to build performance metrics into all IT contracts and provide input into all IT contract renewals.
  • Provide all governance, including regular executive reviews withCAAand Supplier leadership, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead vendor risk assessments,as needed, assigning criticality, andtrackingofneeded actions with various ITand vendorteams.
  • Develop andmaintainvendor scorecards and report on KPIs, cost savings, and value delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
