Our client is seeking a technically capable IT professional to support patient simulation systems throughout the Reno market. These simulators are used for cutting‑edge medical training, and you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting them for healthcare and academic customers. Travel Expectations (Monday–Friday Required) This position requires full travel availability Monday through Friday every week. All travel expenses are covered. You can expect to drive up to five hours within your region, with mileage reimbursed after the 30th mile. Hotels are provided for long‑distance trips, and flights are arranged for travel over five hours. While most travel is local and you will be home most evenings, you must remain open to both driving and flying any weekday. Weekends are always at home. A 13‑week, fully paid training program (classroom + field shadowing) is required and involves Monday–Friday out‑of‑state travel. All expenses are paid throughout training and ongoing. Requirements

  • Some professional IT experience is required (help desk, desktop support, field tech, etc.)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, and basic IP networking
  • Experience working with Windows 11
  • Full weekday travel flexibility (Monday–Friday availability is mandatory)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be fully available — this role is not compatible with attending classes or weekly recurring commitments
  • Completion of an IKM assessment (similar to CompTIA A+) is required

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot patient simulator systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure all equipment is fully functional
  • Provide excellent customer service at hospitals, universities, and clinical facilities
  • Support Windows 11–based devices and network-connected systems
  • Work independently while traveling between customer sites
