THE IT FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL BE THE PRIMARY, ON-SITE SUPPORT SPECIALIST FOR IT SYSTEMS AT MULTIPLE PROGRAM FACILITIES ACROSS VOAOHIN. ROLE IS STAFF FOCUSED WHILE PROVIDING EXCELLENT END USER SUPPORT AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT FOR VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA OH & IN OPERATIONS. THE IT FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL REGULARLY BE INVOLVED IN VARIOUS STAGES OF PROJECT PLANNING, DEPLOYMENT AND DELIVERY OF ONSITE TASKS. Work environment is centered on serving individuals and families facing transitional life challenges through supportive housing and assistance programs. Work may involve exposure to dust, cabling, and equipment in tight spaces. Requires working under desks, in equipment rooms, and other confined spaces. Position requires work schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends (On Call), and some holidays. Travel is required: Moderate travel, (20%-40%) which requires regular daily travel to facilities. Most travel is within the State of Indiana with occasion travel to Ohio facilities based on project needs. Nightly stays over on occasion when necessary or based on project needs.
