About The Position

Responsible for all aspects of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment – currently Epicor v10, with a funded upgrade to Epicor Kinetic planned for 2026 (external consultant already contracted). The IT/ERP Manager will serve as the internal project leader for the upgrade, own the system post-go-live, and provide day-to-day administration and user support while also handling light general IT responsibilities in a 60-user manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum five (5) years of hands-on ERP administration in a manufacturing environment required
  • Direct experience with Epicor (v10 or Kinetic) strongly preferred
  • Candidates with deep experience in ECI M1, NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage X3, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar manufacturing-focused ERPs will also be considered
  • Proven participation in at least one full ERP upgrade or major implementation as the internal lead
  • Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, costing, and financial processes
  • Proficiency with ERP tools such as BAQ, BPM, DMT, dashboards, and SSRS reporting (Epicor or equivalent)
  • Competence with Microsoft Office 365 suite and Windows environment
  • Ability to train end users and create clear documentation
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with functional Department heads and President level
  • Comfortable writing procedures, reports, queries, or executive dashboards in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Basic SQL query skills highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ITAR, or CMMC a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Function as internal, company-based, project lead and Epicor champion for the 2026 Kinetic upgrade (data preparation, testing, training, and go-live support)
  • Perform ongoing Epicor administration, optimization, user support, and training
  • Design and develop BAQs, dashboards, BPMs, SSRS reports, and light customizations
  • Working with Dept. Directors, implementing system process improvements across manufacturing, inventory, costing, finance, quality, and supply chain modules
  • Coordinate with the external Epicor consultant, Epicor support, and other third-party IT vendors
  • Purchase, configure, and deploy replacement desktops, laptops, and/or printers (~3-5 per year)
  • Serve as first responder for daily, general IT issues (Office365, printers, Wi-Fi, password resets, etc.)
  • Perform basic Office365 administration and user provisioning
  • Oversee and coordinate with our managed service provider(s) (servers, network, and cybersecurity support are outsourced)
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ERP and related systems
  • Maintain system documentation and write user guides/training materials
  • Support QA/QC Manager during ISO and customer audits as needed
  • Assist with IT budget preparation and resource planning
