About The Position

The IT Engineer, Field Services provides high‑quality technical support to Pinnacle/Cornerstone businesses, with a strong focus on caregivers and clinicians. This hybrid role includes both remote and onsite support across Senior Living Communities in your region. The position also participates in IT projects, infrastructure improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration to strengthen technology operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of technical support experience.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk).
  • Working knowledge of Wi‑Fi, VoIP, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organization, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and support varied environments.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region to support communities and partner with operational leaders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when installing or moving equipment.
  • Ability to use ladders for required IT tasks (e.g., cabling or hardware installation).

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users, acting as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Complete infrastructure projects, site visits, and acquisition-related IT tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues; escalate when required.
  • Install and configure systems, applications, mobile devices, and network equipment.
  • Support network reliability and ensure resilient internet and Wi‑Fi connectivity at communities.
  • Perform cabling work, including running cable through ceilings and installing junction boxes when job-related.
  • Manage assigned tickets, project tasks, and priorities within established SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support cases, configurations, and project details.
  • Provide end‑user training and support for mobile devices and applications.
  • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and application deployments in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and support tools.
  • Regional travel, including occasional out‑of‑state trips, is required (up to 50%).
