More details on our benefits can be found on our website at https://www.itw.com/careers/benefits-compensation/ The End User Computing Engineer maintains the reliability and security of ITW’s corporate endpoints (laptops, desktops, tablets) by providing 2nd/3rd‑level support, administering endpoint configuration and security controls, and executing software packaging and deployment. The role monitors device health, remediates vulnerabilities, and supports rollout activities including pre‑configuration, staging, and shipment. This engineer troubleshoots collaboration and facilities technologies—such as Teams Rooms A/V, badge access, cameras, and door systems—integrating platforms (e.g., CCURE and ExacqVision) to improve alerting and response. The position partners with vendors and internal teams, documents plans for upgrades, learns new systems quickly (e.g., Wattstopper lighting, AI Door Phone), and occasionally works outside normal hours to support global offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant field preferred
  • 2+ years IT experience supporting end user devices in a corporate IT environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise endpoint management, asset/patch deployment, and vulnerability mitigation
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Intune, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Exposure to application packaging and deployment tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with physical security systems (badge access, cameras) and conference room A/V preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd/3rd level support for escalated tickets and issues related to end user devices
  • Maintain day-to-day operation of systems, ensuring devices are current and protected
  • Monitor device health and remediate deviations or vulnerabilities
  • Assist with end user device deployments, including pre-configuration, staging, and shipment
  • Package and deploy software applications, updates, and configuration settings
  • Support and administer endpoint security tools (e.g., AutoElevate, browser hardening policies)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across conference room A/V, badge access, camera, and door systems
  • Integrate and configure physical security platforms (e.g., CCURE, ExacqVision) for event alerts and monitoring
  • Perform break/fix work for conference room technology, replacing hardware as needed to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate on planning and documentation for technology upgrades (e.g., Teams Room installations)
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
  • Address post-upgrade issues for any of the Building Automation Systems (e.g., Wattstopper lighting, AI Door Phone)
  • Maintain positive team relationships and adapt to changing environments and workflows
  • Occasionally work outside normal business hours to support global offices
