About The Position

Vertex Service Partners is seeking an IT Enablement & Operations Manager to lead the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the company’s core IT systems and employee technology experience. This role serves as the operational owner of key enabling technologies—particularly Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity systems—while partnering closely with Vertex’s managed services provider (MSP) and internal teams to ensure employees across the organization are always ready to work. The IT Enablement & Operations Manager will play a key role in enabling productivity, driving technology standardization across operating companies, and supporting integrations during acquisitions, while continuously improving the reliability, security, and usability of Vertex’s technology stack.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, or endpoint management.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and endpoint management platforms such as Intune.
  • Experience working with or overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Experience supporting technology integrations, migrations, or consolidation initiatives, ideally within multi-entity or acquisition-driven organizations.
  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Entra ID/Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or similar MDM platforms.
  • Application deployment and device provisioning at scale.
  • Familiarity with IT service frameworks such as ITIL or Lean operations.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity controls and governance practices.
  • Strong ownership mindset and bias toward action.
  • Analytical thinker who uses operational data to drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
