About The Position

El Centro offers vital health services in a caring and supportive environment. El Centro Family Health is seeking a full-time IT Director, dedicated to serving the needs of our community. An ideal candidate should possess the following qualities: Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Attention to detail. Willing to travel to outlying clinics as needed. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge and fluent skill of Microsoft Office Excel and Word applications, internet explorer usage. Demonstrates ability to work well in a team environment Responsibilities The IT Director is responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT Services Department. Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination. Must assist in the implementation projects and optimization efforts for El Centro Family Health (ECFH) and its Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum associate degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related Field, or equivalent experience year for year in lieu of degree (i.e., Two (2) years experience = AA degree; four (4) years experience = BS degree, etc.

Responsibilities

  • The IT Director is responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT Services Department.
  • Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.
  • Must assist in the implementation projects and optimization efforts for El Centro Family Health (ECFH) and its Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
