The director is responsible for the all SAP and SAP related customer facing and fulfilment services and solutions delivery. The director is also responsible for developing the strategic plan and annual operating plan for customer facing and fulfilment solutions in collaboration with the Flowers business and internal IT partners and management. The director will build and lead functional team responsible for maintenance, enhancements and project delivery providing day to day oversight and management of COE operations and related projects. The director will have business domain expertise in a sales / customer service and SAP functional expertise SAP Sales and Distribution modules across different go to market channels and execution of design, build, test, and change activities.

Requirements

Functional/technical proficiency with at least 4+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 10+ years SAP IT experience and at least 5 years experience in an IT management.
At least 10 years of SAP experience implementing SAP with responsibility in SAP Sales and Distribution
Experience with NPI, Brick & Mortar and e-Comm Drop-Ship
Experience prioritizing support, enhancement and project requests with business and IT stakeholders and managing delivery
Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
Design, configure, test and implement SAP Sales and Distribution solutions and processes.
Create functional design documents for enhancements, integrations, and data conversions.
Execute SAP Sales and Distribution functional activities in partnership with Business Relationship Management Sales and Marketing Team, SAP Analytics teams and the SAP managed services providers and related 3rd party sales application service providers.
Contribute to demand management and lead supply planning and management against deliverables.
Mentor SAP Managers and Analysts.
Continually assess the impact of emerging SAP technologies against strategic business needs and interpret business value for the IT management.
Ensure the consistency and maintainability of new and existing SAP sales and distribution applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical and quality standards, guidance and reference architectures.
Develop productive relationships with business across the organization to influence how SAP sales and distribution applications can enable new sources of value.
Execute methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall) and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.
Ensure that sales applications processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation.
Provide support in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure SAP Sales and Distribution applications perform to Flowers’ standards. Assist analysts and developers in resolving issues.
Seek out continuous improvement opportunities and provide input and recommendations.
Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including, but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with functional / technical staff, business stakeholders and IT management.
Proven track record with revenue impacting customer facing integration using point to point integration / communication and cloud-based integration brokerage firms.
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
Strong analytical, data-processing and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.
Excellent writing proficiency, visual design, and presentation skills required.
High degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business management or a related field. A degree in business administration is preferred.
SAP Sales and Distribution and related functional architecture, data model along with new and emerging SAP capabilities.
SAP capabilities in following SAP Sales and Distribution areas: Order to Cash, related SAP Functional Procedures and Master Data
Industry trends, best practices especially with respect to the CPG industry with a Direct Store and Warehouse Delivery business model.
IT Sales and Distribution, operations, service and support organizations.
Development and implementation of processes and policies.

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing customer facing EDI integration
Experience with drop-ship retailer e-Commerce, SAP Sales and Distribution Order to Cash including drop-ship to consumer and retailer store.
At least 4 years business experience in a related field.
Multiple full life-cycle SAP implementation in Sales and Distribution using ASAP and other SDLC methodologies.
Full life-cycle SAP implementation in Sales and Distribution consulting experience in North America.
Work experience in a related customer facing business role
Experience integrating SAP Sales and Distribution solutions into a broad array of non-legacy technologies and architectures.
