About The Position

The DevOps Engineering Senior Manager participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives within cloud development to ensure high-quality performance and user experience. They lead team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters to shorten the system's delivery lifecycle and provide a continuous delivery platform. This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 11 years of experience in IT
  • 8+ years of experience in IT
  • 4+ years of experience managing direct reports

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience with React and microservices
  • Knowledgeable in liquid batch manufacturing
  • Experience with agile methodologies

  • Leadership & Supervision Strategic leader, Directs operational units.

  • Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
  • Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
  • Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
  • Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
  • Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
  • Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution.
  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • Interacts with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
  • Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
