Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5–7 years of experience with OpenEdge ABL (OpenEdge 4GL), Telerik .NET controls, or C#.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience using and working with object-oriented programming structures.
- Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats.
- Ability to parse and manipulate data stored in various formats.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of web services (REST) preferred.
- Power BI experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meet with business teams to determine project needs and requirements.
- Analyze and interpret business requirements to design, develop, and implement software-based solutions.
- Review, refactor, and maintain existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Propose and implement database schema changes as required.
- Develop applications using OpenEdge ABL, Telerik .NET controls, and/or C#.
- Work within established project management processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Stay current with advancements in programming tools, frameworks, and best practices.
