About The Position

Role: Provide first-level technical support for desktop systems, hardware, and basic network issues, with additional responsibilities supporting the Symitar core banking system and related automation tasks. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with some IT experience and a strong willingness to learn and advance.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching; some lifting (less than 50 lbs).
  • On-site work at corporate office or as required.
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; occasional after-hours or weekend support.

Nice To Haves

  • Up to 1 year of related IT support experience (preferred; not required).
  • Two-year college degree, technical certification, or equivalent training (preferred; not required).
  • Basic programming/scripting experience (PowerOn, FTA, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide help desk support for desktop, hardware, and basic network issues.
  • Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and moves of IT equipment.
  • Support Symitar core banking system operations, including monitoring backups, print queues, and system refreshes.
  • Utilize basic scripting (PowerOn/Easy Writer) for automation and reporting tasks.
  • Maintain user security privileges and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Monitor and process file transfers according to vendor timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT team and third-party vendors to resolve issues.
  • Document procedures and resolutions for recurring issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
