The IT Data Analyst role centers on delivering IT solutions across various business functions, with a strong background in analyzing data, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves having in-depth knowledge of modeling, data integration and advanced dashboard techniques in an SAP environment.

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Integrate, harmonize and model data using current SAP based tools, such as Datasphere, to support enterprise data initiatives.
  • Design and develop dashboards/reports using industry-standard tools such as Analytics Cloud and Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data audits and validations.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users on data tools
  • Stay informed of the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics, governance, and data management.
  • Monitor system performance and data flows
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst role, with hands-on expertise in SAP BW/4HANA or Datasphere.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, ETL tools, and at least one programming language commonly used for data
  • Strong background in data visualization and reporting tools such as Analytics Cloud or Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into understandable business terms.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations, including practices for ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to create structured documentation and clearly communicate technical processes.
  • Must live within a commutable distance from Montvale, NJ
