The Senior IT Data Analyst provides advanced modeling, reporting and analytical support for the department. As the Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include developing and tracking of key statistical information and performance metrics, preparing various analytical models reporting views, organizing and presenting actionable data to senior management both interdepartmental intradepartmental and to present findings and action plan performing query functions for ad-hoc reporting requests communicating requirements to senior staff. The Senior IT Data Analyst will: Obtain insight from a pool of Information Technology data and provide key statistical information and performance metrics Develop ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks to support analytic models Perform quality data assessments to support analytics models Develop visual business intelligence models utilizing several business intelligence tools Plan, organize, prepare, and present data to management and provide analytical support Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values Liaise with business units to elicit data requirements, translating vague business questions into specific technical specifications for ETL processes and analytic models. Scope and define project boundaries, identifying critical data sources and defining the logic required to turn raw data into meaningful business metrics. Bridge the gap between technical data architecture and business goals, ensuring that developed BI tools directly address stakeholder pain points and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Moderate skills in:
- Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Qlik
- ETL tools such as SSIS
- SQL database
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel & PowerPoint
- Information Technology experienced preferred
