We're looking for candidates who love mobile technology, innovation and great experiences to share their perspectives and help shape our customers' experiences. The Customer Experience & Mobility team is responsible for the continuous improvement of the MySelective mobile app/website, Voice of the Customer and Proactive Communications program. We also drive, track, and measure the adoption, utilization and financial impact of digital services. Our team works in depth with many other departments including Information Technology, Business Services Unit, IT and Marketing which gives interns exposure to other departments and functions.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field to qualify (rising juniors and seniors, preferred).
• Be someone who takes ownership over work, has the ability to self-motivate and executes on delegated tasks.
• Demonstrates an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ideal internship candidates will be full-time undergraduate college Juniors or Seniors, with the ability to perform at a professional level.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support application solutions, providing production support and managing application operations.
• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, including tools, databases, and end-user computing services.
• Actively manage and monitor cybersecurity tools and systems, identifying and escalating security risks.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly to support business processes and resolve issues.
• Work cross-functionally with peers and leaders to complete an Action Learning Project.
