About The Position

Provides and supports information systems within the organization, with an emphasis on End-User Desktop Support. Supports company IT policies, procedures and security measures.

Requirements

  • Position requires an Associate's Degree (A.A) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Position requires solid knowledge of:
  • Network Structure and Protocols
  • Windows, Linux, and Mac Operating System Installation and Support.
  • General Computer Hardware and Software Troubleshooting and Support.
  • Communications, Problem Solving, and Organization.
  • Climb stairs and/or ladders
  • Lift boxes weighing approximately 1 to 100 pounds
  • Work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines or respond to emergencies
  • Differentiate between colors
  • Communicate orally and in writing in an excellent manner
  • Operate general office equipment (i.e., fax machine, photocopier, computer printer) stationed between 3 and 4 feet high
  • Sit for long periods of time
  • Comprehend and apply complex information
  • Concentrate for prolonged periods of time
  • Maintain attendance according to company policy
  • Provide on-call services upon short notice
  • Work on elevated surfaces

Nice To Haves

  • IT Certifications such as A+, N+, MTA/MCSA, or CCENT/CCNA are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Workstation Setup, Deployment, Maintenance, and Usage Tracking.
  • Printer and Toner Purchasing, Deployment, Replacement, Maintenance and Usage Tracking.
  • Software Setup, Deployment, Maintenance and Usage Tracking.
  • PBX/Desk Phone Deployment, Setup and Support.
  • Maintain Retail Store Network Connectivity and Reliability.
  • Assist with Systems/Server Installation and Network Cabling.
  • Assist with Assigning/Dispatching, Following Up With, and Closing Trouble Tickets.
  • Strive to achieve maximum user satisfaction by responding quickly and effectively to problems, questions and requests from employees.
  • Remain current with regard to new technologies and applies this knowledge in the workplace where possible.
  • General IT Department duties including: department vehicle upkeep, Intranet updates, and other IT Support needs.
  • Provides on-call support as needed; participates in an on-call rotation on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
