About The Position

This position is on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is December 31, 2025. Role : The IT Core Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with business departments, users and vendors to document change requests to processes, programming, products, services and software utilized by the credit union.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience with the Jack Henry Symitar banking core system is required.
  • Proficiency in Symitar PowerOn (Report Generator) is required.
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience is required.
  • Must possess strong collaborative problem solving skills and strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Must have ability to prioritize demands from multiple projects.
  • Must possess good data analysis skills.
  • Must possess some technical coding skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other languages (such as SQL and JSON) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works with business departments and related vendors to complete tasks associated with the implementation of new products or product interfaces.
  • Provides operational support to business departments and relevant vendor interfaces.
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of the core including coordinating updates in addition to coordinating updates to vendor interfaces which impact the core.
  • Responsible for supporting key operational software including document imaging/archival.
  • Acts as a resource for Core projects related to data, systems and modifications to the core.
  • Utilizes and coordinates with vendor resource to accomplish these items.
  • Responds and manages requests and programming requests from stakeholders for changes to the core, forms and/or workflow processes in the credit union systems and/or core.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
