This person will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the Application Development and Reporting teams. This role is responsible for understanding business processes, translating needs into clear functional and data requirements, and supporting the successful delivery of application enhancements, integrations, and analytics solutions. In addition to core business analysis responsibilities, this role performs project coordination and light project management activities, helping ensure initiatives are well-defined, prioritized, delivered on time, and aligned with business objectives. This position is ideal for an analyst looking to grow into broader solution ownership or future project leadership. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy. Requirements

  • B. S. degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent formal and practical training
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to assess current processes, identify gaps, and define opportunities for improvement or automation.
  • Elicit, document, and validate functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements using interviews, workshops, and process mapping.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the primary point of clarification for developers, report writers, and data analysts throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Work closely with application developers on enhancements, integrations, and new solutions.
  • Collaborate with reporting and BI teams to define metrics, KPIs, data models, and visualization requirements.
  • Active participant in discussions for planning, scheduling, and coordinating work across application development and reporting initiatives.
  • Facilitate project meetings, backlog grooming sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
